Hello =)
as promised. i'll now blog more about Penang.

Overall i can say indeed it was a very fun fruit-full trip, Many "first -time events" happened throughout the whole trip...... 1st time singing in such a big stadium, 1st time taking over the part of a MC. to delay time and play small games with the crowd, 1st time interviewing a artist( shila), 1st for me to be so anxious and nervous about the performance in Penang & the performance back here in sunway in church, & 1st time in my life... boarding a plane, yes u didnt read wrongly. it was the 1st time i went on an aeroplane haha

Now that emerge and penang trip is done, will be busy-ing with other stuff like a wedding, IO camp, Band competitions & prom.
Will be going back to Perak,Sitiawan this thursday till Sunday. How i wish i didn't have to go =x

BTW i just received good news from HP & that is my Laptop is done and can be retrieved anytime from now. Will be going to HP tomorrow and collecting it woohoo!

HELLO IM BACK FROM PENANG

I had a awesome yet tiring and busy week, the only thing that is bad is that im sick. sobs =(

1st up the Penang trip!
Saturday early morning we took off from P.J. all the way to Penang. We arrived around noon and we had lunch in mamak.
Cut the whole story short, we took of to Penang PISA stadium. Our performance started around 8.30 . Shila and Long Piao Piao was the other 2 performers that night. The performance ended around 10.30 . I actually thought that the day will end as it is...
BUT Around 1am i received an emergency call and i was informed that my performance on the following day that was suppose to be at night( for emerge in Sunway convenction hall) was changed to the morning session, and i was still in Penang. I freaked out right after that call...after receiving calls after calls... everything was settled around 3 am.
The solution i had was to take the earliest flight possible and rush back to here( subang) by 8.30 am. I really have to say a very big thank you to Rui Guo the organizer of the concert to actually fetch me all the way from Bkt. mertajam to Penang airport and borrowing me money to buy the plane ticket.
Everything settled around 3am and i had a 1 hour sleep. 4am in the morning Rui guo fetch me to Penang airport. we arrived there around 5.30. We had to wait until 6am for the ticket booth to open. I bought a 7.15 flight from firefly airlines.
Luckily i arrived back to subang early. Clement came to pick me up from subang airport and rushed for the sound check and everything. Performed in the morning session it was great =)
I was really tired though =x

I'll continue to blog about emerge and more later on , have to go for High school band practice now.

Busy Rush Rush

Woohoo
This week is gonna be a BUSY weekend for me ! Because its EMERGE! & a performance in Penang.

Well today we (Haloforest performance team) will be having our final rehearsals in the afternoon, following on I'll have to RUSH all the way to Sunway convenction hall & also to be in charge of IO camp booth (I'll explain to u guys more about IO camp ASAP * guarantee SUPERB ^^*) & then the opening of EMERGE!!

Following day, early in the morning.. off to Penang!
I think i haven't really talk bout this before. Well I'm gonna be performing in Penang for a charity concert in Penang PISA Stadium, with 4 more other friends :)
Kinda nervous bout this event because according to my teacher... this event is gonna be an event of a crowd of 10k+/- :S
Wish me luck! haha

On Sunday!
I'll have to rush back from Penang to Sunway for a rehearsal/practice with Aiko. Me and her will be performing a new song in EMERGE! entitled "Jiao wo qu ai" (you thought me to love). And then at night........the performance in Emerge!

EMERGE RISING

EMERGE KL Conference was started in 2006 by Rev. Kevin Loo, the Senior Pastor of City Harvest Church KL (CHCKL). It emulates the Emerge Conference in Singapore, which was founded by City Harvest Church Singapore (CHCSG).

Ever since, EMERGE KL has become an annual nationwide conference in Malaysia. It normally begins with competitions and games for about two months, before ending with a blast in a 3-night conference.

Not only that, but the 3-night conference will also be packed with explosive music, competition showcases, celebrity guest appearances, as well as the cutting-edge preaching by Rev. Dr. Kong Hee from CHCSG.

The purpose of EMERGE KL is to help youths to discover their potential, and also to provide a healthy platform for them to express their talents and gifts.

Besides that, this conference also aims to instill good values and principles in the young people, and to encourage them to rise up as a new, strong generation.
